Client: Donald

Brief: To create a plain, fast loading website, suitable for access by people from a wide spectrum of incomes and therefore internet connections, for Don's hypnotherapy / psychotherapy business. It should use a simple colour scheme and have a calming & reassuring ambience.

Result: We created a clean and simple website with fast loading times. It is easy to view and navigate, which is perfect for those with limited computer experience. The colour scheme has been carefully considered, and a pale, calming environment has been established. A simple, ovular logo has been designed to portray a sense of wholeness and security.

School Students Against War

Client: SSAW

Brief: To design a website and logo for SSAW which would portray it as a credible, serious organisation. It should be to-the-point, load quickly for those on dial-up connections, and have a system in place for members to edit page content. The design should have a degree of militance about it, showing dissatisfaction, and a deep desire for change. If possible, it should reflect SSAW as a group which organises regular protests.

Result: We created a site with simple a simple design and a militant colour scheme. A hard-line, geometric design was used to show SSAW as a serious, no-nonsense organisation. A large part of the coding process was taken up with creating the admin section, where SSAW members can log in with a username and password. Once inside, they can edit the content of the website in simple text boxes. This is being used effectively to keep the website up to date with news, events and more. Client: Clair Curry

Brief: To create a bright and cheerful, health-centred website for a startup Personal Training business. It should be easy to navigate and portray a sense of rejuvination and jovialism to reflect the progress clients should make. The website should show a sense of exciting uniqueness, setting Top Form Balance apart from other personal trainers. it should also be reflective of Clair's bubbly, cheerful and friendly character, encouraging uncertain clients to drop their inhibitions and give a Personal Trainer a go.

Result: We created a colourful, tasteful website with one single easy-to-use navigation system, making it easy to see where you are within the website. It has a unique style and appearance which duly reflects a sense of happiness and improvement. The site will display flawlessly on a variety of resolutions, from the still popular 800x600 upwards. Given the number of images required to create the desired effect, careful consideration was put into image compression and image reuse in order to maintain fast loading times. We used a combination of round, flowing styles and slightly harder lines, showing both the reality of Personal Training, but with a friendly foundation.
