This website was designed primarily with HTML and CSS, plus a couple of lines of JS to print the page. The design was done in Dreamweaver MX and the images were created using Photoshop CS. Some photos used on this website were edited from Hemera Photo Clip Art (licensed). This website conforms to HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS v2 standards, and validates correctly against W3C specifications.

Without beating around the bush, the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) is a collection of the best brains behind the Internet, and some of the most powerful governments and institutions. It is the body which develops Internet protocols and issues guidelines for these protocols. In essence, it works to develop the backbone of the Internet. More about the W3C can be found at the W3C website.
